Music has great signifigance in my life. I find that I relate best to what I listen to, and whatever I am listening to often reflects on my mood. The general type of music I like to listen to is rock, but I may still enjoy songs from other genres of music if they fit the credentials of a good song. If I was to generalize on the type of music I don't listen to, I would say rap, country, idol groups, pop and techno. Here's a listing of a few select favorite songs or something I may just happen to be listening to, occasionally followed by a bit of a commentary on why I enjoy the song. If you would like to obtain any of these songs, I would suggest Napster or the use of a FTP client and a song server.

Aerosmith - Angel

A Perfect Circle - Orestes : Very mesmerizing.

A Perfect Circle - Judith : Strong.

Artificial Joy Club - Sick & Beautiful

Big Wreck - That Song

Blue Rodeo - Falling Down Blue : Softly sad.

Bruse Springstein - Secret Garden : Also soft, but not as sad.

Catherine Wheel - Sparks are Gonna Fly : Catchy, very catchy. Smooth, musky, vocals.

Colin James - Why'd You Lie

Creed - My Own Prison

Depeche Mode - The Love Thieves : Heard of this first though the show La Femme Nikita. Pure vocals. True metaphors.

Everclear - Santa Monica

Edwin - Trippin' : Drawling in a good way.

Goo Goo Dolls - Name : Sentimental value. One of my first memorable songs.

Guns N' Roses - Knockin' on Heaven's Door

Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff : The song's lyrics reminds me much of a toungue twister. I like the guitar. A good angry song.

Limp Bizkit - Faith : I absolutely love the lyrics at the beginning. A soft, light, happy opening, followed by some gusto.

Loreena McKennit - Full Circle

Marilyn Manson - Dope Show

Matthew Good Band - Prime Time Deliverence

Jann Arden - You Don't Know Me

Nazareth - Love Hurts : Eerie, but if you listen correctly, the lyrics are a bit corny, but greatly classic.

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit

Offspring - Amazed : Unlike many of Offspring's songs, voice shows a softer side.

Offspring - Change the World : I listen for this song just for the guitar sequence, great for drowning out noise.

Papa Roach - Last Resort : Powerful

Pearl Jam - Nothing as it Seems

Ram Jam - Black Betty : The best kind of rock.

Rob Zombie - Dragula

Serial Joe - Dragon on my Shoulder : Unbelievable guitar. Very absorbing. I like how there are no lyrics.

The Cult - Painted on my Heart : Beautiful voice, memorizing lyrics, great melody that sticks around in your head. All around broken heart kind of song.

The Flys - Got You (Where I Want You)

Treble Charger - American Psycho : The kind of catchy that sticks around in your head.

Twisted Sister - We're Not Gonna Take It

U2 - With or Without You : From my favorite band of all time.

Vervepipe - Freshman

WWF - Oh Hell Yeah

Zuckerbaby - Andromeda : Airy? I saw the video, and the lead singer jumps off the roof of a building. I thought it was cool.
